Mint Seasoning Powder

This seasoning can be added to overnight oats, salads, veggies and anything that needs a flavor blast.

Ingredients:

      • Dried Mint leaves - 1 Cup
      • Dried Curry leaves - 1/4 cup
      • Urad Dal - 1/4 cup
      • Chenna Dal - 2 Tbsp
      • Red Chilies - 1/2 cup
      • Asafoetida (Hing) - 1 Tbsp
      • Flax or Hemp Seeds - 2 Tbsp
      • Sesame Seeds - 2 Tbsp
      • Kokum - 4
      • Salt to taste.





Method:
  • Dry Roast Mint & curry leaves making sure it does not brown. The goal is to make it crisp.
  • Add a 1 tsp of sesame oil and roast urad, chenna, hing, Flax/hemp seeds, kokum and sesame seeds.
  • In the same pan roast red chilies separately.
  • Grind all of the above with salt.
  • Store in airtight glass container.
