Ingredients:
- Quinoa 1 cup
- toor dal 1.25 cups
- whole oats - 2 tablespoon
- rice half cup
- vegetables
- tomatoes - 2
- chia seeds - handful
Pressure cook the above ingredients.
In a pan add ghee or butter, splutter mustard seeds with jeera and hing. Add onions, curry leaves and fry with turmeric and salt. Now add the seasoning powder and tamarind extract. You can add lemon juice instead of tamarind. Switch off the heat.
To Grind:
Saute the following ingredients in few drops of oil and grind it to a smooth paste.
- Dhania seeds - 2 table spoons
- 1 spoon of the each of following one;
- Urad dal
- Chenna dal
- Methi
- Pepper corns
- Jeera
- Mustard seeds
- fresh coconut few pieces
- handful of red chillies
** Optional - Fry peanuts without oil and make coarse powder and keep aside
Open the pressure cooker and mix the contents
Mix the sautéed mix with the pressure cooked contents, add cilantro and peanut mix. The dish is ready to serve.
